Header and footer
The header is a section of the documents that appears in the top margin while the footer is a section in the bottom margin. Headers and footer generally contain additional information such as page number, dates, an author's name and organized and make then easier to read, Text entered in the header or footer will appear on each page of document.
To create a header or footer:-
For example -
we want to display the author name at the top of each page so well place it in header.
1. Double click anywehere on the top or bottom margin of your document.
or
go to insert tab then left click on header or footer
2. The header or footer will open and design will appear.
3. type the desired information into the header and footer.
4. When we finished left click on close header and footer. Alternatively you can press the ESC key.
5. The header or footer text will appear
